Extra, through the GPA Institute, promotes technical training and formation programs in areas related to food with initiatives such as Hands on the Dough, quick courses in bakery and pastry for young people in the surrounding neighborhoods; Food Technology Advanced Center (NATA), technical professional education for students of the public education system of Rio de Janeiro; and Seeds Project, training in bakery, pastry and customer service for persons with disabilities.
